Biography

My name is James McPhail and I am an Effects Technical Director currently working in Vancouver. I am originally from New Zealand and have been a permanent resident of Canada since 2005.

I have been working in Vancouver, since early 2007, working on various film and television projects; with highlights including District 9, Percy Jackson, Watchmen, The Incredible Hulk, Law Abiding Citizen and New in Town.

I am interested in opportunities both in Vancouver and abroad.

When I am not immersed in VFX land; I enjoy Skiing, Video Games, Photography and Movies of all shapes and sizes.
