Demo Reel
This is my latest demo reel with shots as of August 2010. Projects I have worked on but not yet available include Sherlock Holmes 2, The Big Year & Fast 5
Breakdowns
- Shot 1: Arc gun bolt. Created using noise deformed maya curves. Wrote scripts to create bolt.
- Shot 2: Realflow sim of urinating alien. Also generated wetmaps to affect the cloth and ground.
- Shots 3-5: Destruction particle debris and dust simulations added to enhance DMM solid object destruction.
- Shots 6&7: Ground snow interaction using particles and soft bodies. Particle sparks. Developed particle falling snow and haze rig that was used by myself and other artists for all exterior shots in the sequence.
- Shot 8: Samurai kick snow interaction. Falling particle snow and haze layer.
- Shot 9: Rigid body and particle instanced debris.
- Shots 10-12: Falling snow and haze.
- Shot 13: Snow interaction, falling snow and haze.
- Shot 14: Particle foot interaction & particle haze.
- Shot 15: nCloth alien drool, blowing cloth and particle debris. Particle animated flies. Particle haze.
- Shot 16: Particle instanced debris and point and sprite dust.
- Shot 17: Particle dust sim for running centaurs. Point sprite and instance layers.
- Shot 18: Particle leaves as the car goes through the tree. Particle instanced debris on impact.
- Shot 19: Particle sim of minotaur blood coming from wound and running on horn. Meshed using realflow mesher.
- Shot 20: Fluid & particle dust sim of falling Minotaur. Instanced debris.
- Shot 21: Arc gun beam made using scripted noise deformed curves.
- Shot 22: Keyframe animated reeds that the alien vaults through. nCloth loincloths.
- Shot 23: nCloth falling paper sim.
- Shot 24: Particle debris from breaking horn.
- Shot 25: Particle bubbles and detritus from bursting bubbles. L system tendris and deformer system growing inside the cells driving the buldging.
- Shot 26: Keyframe animated flies.
- Shots 27 & 28: nCloth clothing sims. On CJ and Little CJ.
