Experience
MPC (August, 2009 - Present): Effects TD producing Dynamics and FX Animation using Maya and propriety tools for particle, rigid body, fluid, volumetric and cloth simulation. Projects have included: Percy Jackson, Suckerpunch, A-Team, The Big Year, Fast Five, Sherlock Holmes 2 and Jack the Giant Killer.
Image Engine (April, 2007 - July 2009): Effects Technical Director, produced particle, rigid body, cloth & fluid simulations, FX animation, lighting, shading and matchmoving; for various Film and Television productions including District 9, Watchmen, The Incredible Hulk, Law Abiding Citizen, New in Town and Stargate Atlantis. I also wrote Mel and Python scripts to achieve shot goals and to improve the effects pipeline.
Vancouver Film School (October 2008 - Present): Part time instructor teaching VFX compositing and Nuke to term 4 students.
